It is two multiple-choice papers covering English, maths, verbal reasoning and non-verbal reasoning, sat in September at the start of Year 6.
Both schools give admissions priority to children living in Telford & Wrekin. Note that Thomas Telford School is a non-selective all-ability school that admits by a separate banding assessment, not the grammar 11+.
