Its entrance test is provided by Quest Assessments and covers English, Maths and a Creative Writing element, deliberately excluding verbal and non-verbal reasoning.
The test is sat in September of Year 6 for entry the following September. There is no fixed pass mark; scores are standardised and places are offered to the highest-scoring candidates up to the number available (around 150).
